First Fruits: Resurrection Day

Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth conquered the grave with His resurrection on the Hebrew date 17 Nisan, which begins at sunset Sunday, April 17. Yeshua was raised some time before sunrise, according to John Parsons at Hebrew for Christians. This occurred on the Biblical Feast of First Fruits during Passover week. Yeshua is the first fruits of the resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:20) and the pledge of  a greater harvest to follow.
