Salvation is Your name

The Hebrew word for salvation is yeshuw’ah (pronounced yeshua), and is the Hebrew name of Jesus Christ, Israel’s Messiah. The word also represents deliverance, rescue, welfare and health. Joshua Aaron, a Messianic Jewish singer and songwriter, includes this revelation – salvation is Your name – in background vocals of his single New Covenant (listen below).

I purchased his CD “You Are Holy,” which includes this song. When I heard it for the first time (I was in the car running errands) tears streaked down my face. It felt like Yeshua was in the car with me. I’ve also included a music video of the closing song of his album, Aaronic Benediction. I cry whenever I hear either song. May you also be blessed.
