Easter or Passover?

For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us – 1 Corinthians 5:7

Yeshua’s crucifixion and resurrection occurred on Biblical feast days – Passover and First Fruits. Easter is a Christian counterfeit. It is the English name for Ishtar, a pagan fertility goddess also known as the queen of heaven. The same idol that ensnared the Israelites and provoked God in the book of Jeremiah.

Easter is mentioned once in the Bible, and only in the Kings James Version (Acts 12:4). It is a mistranslation of the Greek word for Passover.

Yeshua fulfilled the spring Biblical feasts to the letter with His death and resurrection. He was crucified the very hour priests in Jerusalem were sacrificing Passover lambs. Yeshua was raised on the Feast of First Fruits during Passover week. Israelites offered the first fruit of their grain harvest to God in an expression of thanksgiving. Yeshua is the first fruits of the resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:20).

There shall be no foreign gods among you – Psalm 81:9
